EKOMET 50x1.00 mm fibres are used in construction of moderately loaded reinforced concrete pavements, while their slenderness ratio λ=50. The use of these fibres leads to a significant increase of the strength of composite concrete. This type of reinforcement is most commonly used in constructing all types of concrete pavements. |

EKOMET 50x0.80 mm (λ=62.5) as well as EKOMET 60x0.80 mm (λ=75) and EKOMET 50x0.65 mm (λ=77) fibres are used in construction of highly loaded reinforced concrete pavements. They provide the strength of composite concrete which is 25 50% higher in comparison to EKOMET 50x1.00 mm fibres.
EKOMET 30x0.65 mm (λ=46) fibres are used to reinforce thin pavement overlays (concrete floors in housing construction, jointless floors) and to prepare sprayed concretes.

All types of fibres are intended for preparing fibreconcrete mixtures in industrial conditions (concrete mixing plants), directly at building sites (dispensing into concrete mixer trucks and mobile centres) as well as in individual conditions (concrete mixers). With regard to dispensing, EKOMET steel fibres may be treated like regular fraction of concrete mixture. Scientific research and operational practice gained at building sites prove that concrete mixtures made with use of EKOMET fibres show large-scale homogeneity of composition, which ensures receiving high strength concrete. |
